Course Start: 18/08
SketchUp: You can create and edit 3D models that let you quickly explore the interplay of light, color, space and form.
At the completion of this course, you'll be able to use SketchUp to:
Use the various tools for creating and manipulating 3D forms.
Create and apply surfaces to a model.
Photoshop: As a new architecture student it is easy to feel overwhelmed with the amount of new stuff you have to learn. It is likely everyone is telling you that you need to learn Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray and whatever other softwares there are out there. On top of this, you need to use photoshop, but most likely it isn’t even on your curriculum. Photoshop is often left up to you to learn for yourself.
Likewise, if you are already working in practice, it wasn’t too long ago that working in Photoshop to enhance images either wasn’t an option, or was outsourced, or put through to a different department. Nowadays, everyone seems to be expected to use Photoshop for architecture with ease!
