Course Start: 18/08
AutoCAD® is computer-aided design (CAD) software that architects, engineers, and construction professionals rely on to create precise 2D and 3D drawings.
Draft, annotate, and design 2D geometry and 3D models with solids, surfaces, and mesh objects.
Automate tasks such as comparing drawings, counting, adding blocks, creating schedules, and more...
Photoshop: As a new architecture student it is easy to feel overwhelmed with the amount of new stuff you have to learn. It is likely everyone is telling you that you need to learn Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray and whatever other softwares there are out there. On top of this, you need to use photoshop, but most likely it isn’t even on your curriculum. Photoshop is often left up to you to learn for yourself.
Likewise, if you are already working in practice, it wasn’t too long ago that working in Photoshop to enhance images either wasn’t an option, or was outsourced, or put through to a different department. Nowadays, everyone seems to be expected to use Photoshop for architecture with ease!
AutoCAD
The objective of this course is to teach users the basic commands and tools necessary for professional 2D/3D drawing, design and drafting using AutoCAD.
After completing this course users will be able to:
Use AutoCAD for daily working process.
Navigate throughout AutoCAD using major navigating tools.
Understand the concept and techniques to draw.
Create multiple designs using several of tools.
Create layers to control the objects’ visibility.
Explain drawing using annotations.
